ORIKLE

ORIKLE is a Manchester based producer making melodic techno, progressive house and tech house. The project started as grief. After the loss of his stepson Matthew in 2022 he began writing down what he was feeling, with no intention of any of it becoming music, and only started building the pages into records in 2026 at his wife's encouragement. Other Side and the forthcoming Stars come directly from that writing.

The pull towards dance music goes back to Bizarre Inc's Playing with Knives, found in his sister's CD collection after nights at The Haçienda. He spent years producing for others first, helping make his son's project Beepex and recording his vocals for Fortnite Squad at seven years old, tracks that have since passed 10 million streams. In May 2026, Northern Soulmates, written for his wife, reached number one in Progressive House on the Spinnin' Records Talent Pool and the global top 10.

The sound splits by mood. Melodic techno carries the emotion and the life behind it, drawing on the modern melodic techno movement, artists like Anyma and the Afterlife aesthetic. Tech house carries the energy, built for the volume at eleven. He DJs occasionally alongside his wife, with live performance planned once the catalogue is deep enough to carry a set.
